INDICACIONES
\nTrastorno depresivo mayor, tratamiento del episodio agudo y de mantenimiento. Trastorno obsesivo-compulsivo (TOC). Bulimia, trastorno por p\u00e1nico con o sin agorafobia en adultos.
\nPOSOLOG\u00cdA
\nLa dosis se establecer\u00e1 individualmente de acuerdo con el criterio m\u00e9dico y cuadro cl\u00ednico del paciente. Por v\u00eda oral, con o sin alimentos, en toma \u00fanica matinal. TOC: hasta 80 mg por d\u00eda. Pediatr\u00eda: iniciar con 10 mg por d\u00eda aumentando hasta 20 mg por d\u00eda en depresi\u00f3n y hasta 60 mg por d\u00eda en TOC.
\nCONTRAINDICACIONES
\nInfarto de miocardio reciente, hipersensibilidad, man\u00eda. Asociaci\u00f3n de AD entre s\u00ed, especialmente con IMAO.En particular: terapia reciente con azul de metileno. Uso simult\u00e1neo de pimozida.
\nPRECAUCIONES
\nEmbarazo: Potencialmente riesgosa, evaluar riesgo\/beneficio. Lactancia: Potencialmente riesgosa a dosis habituales. Vigilar en el lactante sedaci\u00f3n, curva de peso, irritabilidad, insomnio. Preferir sertralina o paroxetina. Se ha reportado un aumento del riesgo suicida, pensamiento y conducta suicida en ni\u00f1os, adolescentes y adultos (especialmente adultos j\u00f3venes de 18-24 a\u00f1os) tratados con AD. Los pacientes con depresi\u00f3n tienen un riesgo de suicidio aumentado per s\u00e9, por lo tanto se deber\u00e1 monitorear riesgo suicida en todos los tratamientos, particularmente los 2 primeros meses del inicio del tratamiento. Todos los AD pueden inducir estados delirantes con viraje a la man\u00eda y reactivaci\u00f3n de s\u00edntomas psic\u00f3ticos en especial en pacientes con trastorno bipolar. Cuando se inician AD (en especial los de perfil m\u00e1s sedativo), deber\u00e1 evitarse conducir veh\u00edculos y m\u00e1quinas peligrosas, hasta corroborar correcto estado de vigilia y reflejos.
