INDICACIONES
\nTratamiento de mantenimiento del asma como terapia adicional en los pacientes con asma persistente de leve a moderado, no controlados adecuadamente con corticosteroides inhalados y en quienes los beta 2-agonistas de acci\u00f3n corta \u201ca demanda\u201d no permiten un control cl\u00ednico adecuado. Profilaxis del asma inducida por el ejercicio. En pacientes con indicaci\u00f3n por asma, tambi\u00e9n puede proporcionar alivio sintom\u00e1tico de la rinitis al\u00e9rgica estacional.
\nPOSOLOG\u00cdA
\nLa dosis se establecer\u00e1 individualmente de acuerdo con el criterio m\u00e9dico y cuadro cl\u00ednico del paciente. Por v\u00eda oral, por la noche. Adultos y adolescentes a partir de 15 a\u00f1os 10 mg por d\u00eda. En mayores de 6 a\u00f1os, prevenci\u00f3n del broncoespamos asociado a actividad f\u00edsica: 5 mg.
\nPRECAUCIONES Y ADVERTENCIAS
\nEmbarazo: Evidencia insuficiente. Puede indicarse en caso de necesidad. Lactancia: Se desconoce su excreci\u00f3n en la leche materna. Puede indicarse en madres lactantes en caso de necesidad.
