Exacerbaci\u00f3n aguda de EPOC. Sinusitis bacteriana. Infecciones urinarias complicadas y no complicadas. Infecciones de piel y partes blandas complicadas. Prevenci\u00f3n y tratamiento del \u00e1ntrax luego de exposici\u00f3n inhalatoria. Infecciones intraabdominales.Off label: osteomielitis. Legionelosis.<br \/>\nPOSOLOG\u00cdA<br \/>\nLa dosis se establecer\u00e1 individualmente de acuerdo con el criterio m\u00e9dico y cuadro cl\u00ednico del paciente. Por v\u00eda oral alejado de alimentos y anti\u00e1cidos o por v\u00eda I.V. lenta (en 1 hora). Dosis usual 500-750 mg por d\u00eda por 5 a 7 d\u00edas. Sinusitis: 750 mg por d\u00eda por 5 d\u00edas. Insuficiencia renal: 750 mg por d\u00eda seguido de 750 mg cada 48 h. Ajustar en insuficiencia renal seg\u00fan: ClCr 50-20 mL\/min 125-250 mg cada 24 h. ClCr &lt; 20 mL\/min y hemodi\u00e1lisis 125 mg cada 48 h.<br \/>\nCONTRAINDICACIONES<br \/>\nEpilepsia. Antecedentes de trastornos tendinosos relacionados con la administraci\u00f3n de fluoroquinolonas. Menores de 18 a\u00f1os.<br \/>\nPRECAUCIONES<br \/>\nEmbarazo: Insuficiente evidencia. En animales teratogenicidad demostrada. Contraindicado. Lactancia: Se excreta por la leche materna. No se recomienda su uso dado el riesgo de lesi\u00f3n articular. Enfermedades del SNC, enfermedad cerebrovascular, epilepsia. Insuficiencia renal requiere ajuste de dosis. Insuficiencia hep\u00e1tica. Adulto mayor. Diab\u00e9ticos. Evitar exposici\u00f3n solar. Miastenia gravis. Artritis reumatoidea. Pacientes con d\u00e9ficit de G6PD. Evitar su uso en pacientes con riesgo de aneurisma y disecci\u00f3n a\u00f3rtica.
