INDICACIONES
\nTratamiento de la hipertensi\u00f3n arterial esencial s\u00f3lo o asociado con otros agentes antihipertensivos, tales como diur\u00e9ticos tiaz\u00eddicos en bajas dosis.
\nPOSOLOG\u00cdA
\nUsualmente la dosis inicial y de mantenci\u00f3n es 1 comprimido de 50 mg en una dosis diaria. El efecto antihipertensivo m\u00e1ximo se logra de 3 a 6 semanas despu\u00e9s del inicio de la terapia. Una dosis diaria inicial de 25 mg debe ser considerada en pacientes con depleci\u00f3n de volumen intravascular (ej. los tratados con altas dosis de diur\u00e9ticos y en aqu\u00e9llos con evidencia de insuficiencia hep\u00e1tica). No es necesario ajuste de dosis en ancianos, en presencia de insuficiencia renal o de di\u00e1lisis.
\nCONTRAINDICACIONES
\nLosart\u00e1n est\u00e1 contraindicado en caso de embarazo o hipersensibilidad a la droga o a alguno de los constituyentes de este medicamento.
\nPRECAUCIONES
